THE COMING CONFLAGRATION

"Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."

Introduction

(Note: This presentation is a large file with many graphic charts. It will take time to load into your memory.)

*    *    *

When reading the history of American warfare, the emphasis is always on how America won the war.  America has always won its wars, but it has never been ready for the wars it has won.

 For example:

1. The War of American Independence:  America declared independence from the English before raising an army. We almost lost.

2.  The War of 1812: Overconfidence led to the thinking that the Atlantic Ocean would protect the U.S. from the British. They burned Washington.

3. World War I: It took America 3 years (1914 to1917) to realize the inevitable. Acting earlier would have saved millions of lives.

4. World War II: With Europe in flames for two years, the attack on Pearl Harbor was unanticipated after the entire Japanese Navy went missing for two weeks.

5. The Korean War: It was assumed that the North Koreans would be easily defeated. They drove U.N. forces almost off the peninsula.

6. The Vietnam War: In 300 years, the North Vietnamese had driven-out Chinese war lords, the Japanese and the French. We lost.

7. America v. Al Qaida:  American intelligence, despite the evidence, did not implement anti-hijacking measures.

Now, with the Communist triad of China, Russia and North Korea growing annually in military might---we think that Communism is dead!  In late 2004, during the American-Al Qaida conflict that grew out of the events of Sepember 11, 2001 and the Iraqi Freedom operation of 2003, the George W. Bush administration has proceeded with Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld's plan of re-organizing the United States Army.  From the Center for National Security: (our underline)

“Following his unprecedented premature retirement of forty-seven US Army generals and with his installation of hand-picked replacements to lead the US Army nearly completed, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld is on the verge of moving full bore to begin implementing long-planned reforms. The most radical of these reforms envisions the complete elimination of the Army’s division-based force structure. Rumsfeld and his hand-picked replacement as Army Chief of Staff, General Shoemaker, plan to replace it with a force structure based on dismounted infantry-centric mini-brigade units of action consisting of about 1800 men each more optimized to fight small wars, but less suited to fighting major conflicts.”

Rumsfeld’s plans are to implement….“replacing the Army’s current thirty-three large combat brigades with forty-eight much smaller regiment sized units.”

This will result in ….“an apparent increase in the number of ‘brigades,’”..….but would result in….”reductions of between twenty and forty percent of overall Army manpower.”

“At the annual Association of the United States Army conference earlier this month, top Army officials including General Shoemaker confirmed plans to disband all of the Army’s heavy divisions and discard its tanks and tracked vehicles by 2025, without which major wars cannot be won.”

“However, if history teaches us anything, it is that the US will fight a major war that it did not plan on fighting sometime in the next decade or two.”

(Above excerpts from a Web article by David T. Pyne, Esq.;  President of the Center for National Security) (http://www.intellectualconservative.com/article2832.html ) (http://www.national-security.org)

At first glance, what Secretary Rumsfeld is implementing does not seem to be particularly disadvantageous to the security of the United States.  After all, the war against global terrorism demands an army capable of rapid deployment.  Some say that the Rumsfeld concept was birthed by the thinking of Dr. Condoleezza Rice when she was National Security Advisor.  She was quoted in “The 9-11 Commission Hearings” as saying that our success in the War on Terror (now a prelude to WW III---see Chapter 6 of The Face of the Truth, a book appearing on this Web site) depended upon “accurate intelligence and the ability to strike quickly.”

Following, it will be shown, by the numbers, that Rumsfeld’s “new” U.S. Army, if deployed without heavy armor and artillery, is not an army that can defeat the combined armies of China, Russia or North KoreaStatistical tables follow that reflect the Force of Arms of North Korea, China, Russia versus the United States, Israel and their European Allies.

Nancy Fowler, a visionary and prophet, received the following message from Jesus Christ:

"Korea, China and Russia are a deadly trio."  (September 8, 1993)

“This Web page was published in 2006, which lends credibility to the following documented source quote:

“Today intelligence analysts generally agree that North Korea is capable of producing nuclear warheads.3   The Bush administration holds that North Korea has produced a few weapons, but many experts argue that difficulties in building detonation devices may thus far have prevented the North from finishing their weapons. 4   Resumed nuclear production could give North Korea enough plutonium for a nuclear weapon within a few months and five to seven nuclear weapons by mid-2003.5
